Confirmed positive matches and safelisted false positives are not continuously flagged unless there is a change in the sanction lists affecting the positive match or false positive subjects.

Workflow Example:

Skypiom Compliance is ideally integrated so that AML screening can take place automatically - this is however not mandatory. Integration parameters may include, for example, target audience specifics such as grouping certain audiences as well as setting the screening frequency, even per target audience group.

Should a match be detected then the administrator is notified together with a detailed report. The administrator then reviews the matched subject and determines whether the subject is a true match or a false positive. A true match must be dealt with in line with regulatory and/or company standard operating procedures. A false positive match, after having been reviewed by the administrator, may be safelisted.

Should no match be detected then recurring screening summary reports (standard or custom) are automatically sent to the administrators.

The entire AML screening process repeats itself automatically to ensure continued regulatory compliance.

A confirmed true match, a safelisted true match (for example a PEP) or a confirmed false positive match will not flag again unless there is a change in the sanction lists relating to the true match and false positive subjects. The subjects will continue to be screened on a continued basis. This principle, which is a Regulatory requirement, is referred to as ‘delta screening’.

AML data sources screened by Skypiom Compliance comprise de-duplicated, global lists of numerous government, inter-governmental and NGO intelligence data bases, which are updated on a daily basis.
